Netflix Squid Game-inspired cereal hits the shelves at Morrisons from next week

The Squid Game-inspired cereal sold out in minutes when it was launched online before Christmas, but will now be available for fans to find in Morrisons stores across the country.

Squid Game enthusiasts can get their hands on a cereal inspired by the hit Netflix series from next week.

Set to launch on January 20, BEST Cereal Honeycomb Crisp is inspired by the notorious Dalgona Cookie challenge, where contestants had to carve out a shape from a thin honeycomb without breaking it.

The cereal sold out quickly when it first launched online before Christmas, but will now be available for fans to find in Morrisons stores nationwide.

Priced at £3.50 per 425g box, BEST Cereal's Honeycomb Crisp also offers buyers the chance to win a cash prize of £4,560 - a tribute to the character known as Player 456. The Squid Game themed cereal comes in a box illustrated with a red soldier.

BEST Cereal brand is owned by YouTube collective the Sidemen, which includes influencer and boxer KSI, and streamer Miniminter. This isn't the group's first business venture. They've previously launched restaurant chain Sides and Sidemen Clothing.

Jordan Schwarzenberger, the manager of the Sidemen, said: "BEST Cereal are 'ready to play' with the launch of our new Honeycomb Crisp flavoured cereal, in partnership with Netflix's Squid Game.

"We set out to create a 'true' breakfast celebration of what fans love about Netflix's hit show, with a flavour and format inspired by the infamous Dalgona Cookie challenge, resulting in a fun and delicious breakfast experience for fans to enjoy."

Squid Game, which first hit Netflix in 2021, holds the record as the most-watched show in the history of the streaming giant.

After a tense three-year wait, fans were treated to season two, which landed on the streaming platform on December 26, 2024.

Both seasons have great reviews from critics and have bagged numerous awards, including the Bingeworthy Show of the Year at the 2021 People's Choice Awards.
