PlayStation gamers are livid about the ongoing PSN outage that is affecting their ability to boot up both single and multiplayer titles o their consoles.

Sony is keeping schtum about its PSN servers being down for around for around six hours, at the time of writing. Currently the services affected include Account Management, Gaming and Social, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Store. The only PSN service left standing right now is PlayStation Direct, so if you want to buy an overpriced PS5 Pro as Sony flounders to fix the PSN outage while saying nothing to its PS4 and PS5 owner base, then you're good at least.

Strangely, Bethesda has at least acknowledge that PSN is down, taking to its @BethesdaSupport Twitter account to let players of The Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 76 on PlayStation know about the PSN outage, and advising them, to keep an eye on the official PSN status page. DownDetector is showing reports of the PSN outage kicking in at around 1am BST on Tuesday, October 1 which is 8pm EDT / 5pm PDT on Monday, September 30 for players in the US.
