Brassic star Michelle welcomed a baby girl, with the duo announcing the delightful news on social media. They revealed they named their baby girl Palma Elizabeth Wright. The adorable black and white photo showed the couple holding hands with their newborn daughter.
They wrote in their caption: "Together we have a new love to share... Our little girl" followed by a white heart emoji. They then added: "Palma Elizabeth Wright" followed by her date of birth "06.06.25". After the couple announced the news, Mark's sister re-posted the photo on her Instagram Stories.
She wrote: "Most beautiful addition to our family. I finally have a niece and I am so in love." Jess wasn't the only family member and celebrity to congratulate the happy couple on the news.
Natalie Anderson, who starred alongside Michelle in Netflix's Fool Me Once, wrote on the original post: "Oh what beautiful news! Congratulations to you both darling." Whilst her former Coronation Street co-star Brooke Vincent simply responded with heart emojis. Mark's cousin Elliott Wright wrote: "Can't wait to meet her." Una Healy said in her reply: "Congratulations."
Mark, 38, has been married to 37-year-old Coronation Street icon Michelle since 2015 and they announced they are expecting their first child together during the festive season last year. In a joint post, the happy couple wrote: "2025 is going to be a special one for us… [baby emoji. love heart emoji]." In the loving snap on a picturesque beach, Michelle could be seen holding her baby bump as Mark lovingly looked on.
In the weeks before welcoming their first child together, Mark opened up about becoming a father during an interview on The One Show in February. The former TOWIE star spoke about his new BBC DIY show was Tommy Walsh, Clean It, Fix, It. During the chat, he was congratulated by hosts Lauren Laverne and Roman Kemp. "We've got to say congratulations, because since we last saw you, you and your wife Michelle [Keegan] have announced you're expecting a baby," Lauren said. "Your first child together, so it's all go on the home front."
"Thank you very much," Mark responded. "Very exciting times ahead. Little bit nerve wracking but I'm ready, I'm excited." Asked if he was going to decorate the nursery, Mark laughed: "I'll let you guys do it."
