Shots fired at San Jose Westfield mall as shoppers barricade themselves in stores

At least three people have been injured in a shooting at a shopping centre during Black Friday sales.

The incident occurred at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in San Jose, California, and resulted in several people being taken to the hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds, police confirmed.

A man, a woman, and a 16-year-old girl were injured, Sergeant Jorge Garibay from the San Jose Police Department said. A search for the suspect is underway.
