Arsenal return to Carabao Cup action this evening as they face Newcastle United in the first leg of their semi-final.

The Gunners secured a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace in their quarter-final tie last month to book a place in the last four.

Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick in that victory at the Emirates Stadium before Christmas, and Arsenal will return to their home stadium to take on Newcastle on Tuesday evening.

Mikel Arteta's side go into the fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw with Brighton in the Premier League at the weekend, while the Magpies have won their last six Premier League outings on the bounce.

Arsenal will be hoping to secure a victory against Eddie Howe's side will give them an advantage going into the second leg at St. James' Park next month.

The other Carabao Cup semi-final tie being played this week will see Tottenham Hotspur host Liverpool on Wednesday night in the first leg.

Sky Sports are televising the fixture, with coverage starting on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football at 7pm.

ITV1 are also broadcasting the game, with their coverage getting underway at 7.30pm from the Emirates.

Alternatively, football.london will also be in attendance in North London to provide live match updates and post-match analysis from the fixture.
