When the current international break finishes next week, Arsenal will return to action for the winter period with a congested schedule across three competitions.

The break in play came at the right time for the Gunners after they managed just one win in their previous five games, coming in the EFL Cup to Championship side Preston North End.

Back-to-back defeats to Newcastle and Inter were followed by a 1-1 draw with Chelsea. Mikel Arteta's team are now nine points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool but there remains plenty of games to catch up.

The visit of Nottingham Forest next weekend is the first of 10 games before 2025. With the festive period nearly upon us, football.london takes a look at the Gunners' upcoming fixtures compared to Liverpool and Manchester City.
