Here we take a look at what is Ange Postecoglou's strongest Tottenham team to take on Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals

Ange Postecoglou and Tottenham can now fully focus on Thursday's Europa League semi-final tie against Bodo/Glimt. While of course Spurs have had one eye on the European match ever since achieving a place in the final four earlier this month, the team have had two Premier League fixtures to contend with over the past week.

The second of those came on Sunday afternoon as Liverpool hit the north London club for five to wrap up the Premier League title. Postecoglou made a total of eight changes for the match at Anfield and even elected to leave Rodrigo Bentancur out of his matchday squad, which was a repeat of his decision involving Destiny Udogie last Monday against Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham did take the lead at Liverpool through Dominic Solanke but they were well beaten on the day as the Reds ran riot. Now having a few days to prepare for the Bodo/Glimt fixture, Son Heung-min will be the main topic of focus as he once again missed out due to a foot injury.

Speaking to BBC Sport after the game, Postecoglou issued a fresh injury update on his player and discussed his potential participation in the fixture. "It'll be touch and go for Thursday," he said on Son. "He'll try hard. If [he's not ready] for the first game we think he'll be ready for the second game."

Amid question marks over Son's fitness, what exactly is Postecoglou's strongest Tottenham team to face Bodo/Glimt as things stand right now? football.london takes a look below:

Goalkeeper - Guglielmo Vicario

Centre-back - Cristian Romero

Cristian Romero was another who was given a rest at Liverpool with Ange Postecoglou keeping him aside for the Bodo/Glimt match. Spurs will hopefully be much better defensively with the World Cup winner at the back.(Image: Harry Murphy - Danehouse/Getty Images)

Centre-back - Micky van de Ven

Ange Postecoglou elected against risking Micky van de Ven against Liverpool given his importance to the team. He will be one of the first names on the teamsheet on Thursday night.(Image: Justin Setterfield/Getty Images)

Left-back - Destiny Udogie

Destiny Udogie was Tottenham's best player over the two legs against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League quarter-finals but he didn't exactly cover himself in glory at Liverpool. He will be the favourite to start at left-back over Djed Spence, though.(Image: Marc Atkins/Getty Images)

Central midfield - Rodrigo Bentancur

Rodrigo Bentancur was rested completely at Liverpool and left out of the matchday squad for the game on Merseyside. He was a huge miss in the middle and he's almost certain to return to the starting XI in Europe.(Image: Malcolm Couzens/Getty Images)

Central midfield - Lucas Bergvall

Central midfield - James Maddison

James Maddison's minutes appeared to be managed at Liverpool as he only played 45 minutes of the contest despite delivering a strong performance. Spurs need more of the same from the attacking midfielder with a place in the final up for grabs.(Image: Paul Harding/Getty Images)

Right-wing - Dejan Kulusevski

Striker - Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke was a rare bright spot for Tottenham in their defeat at Liverpool. He has a big role to play once again as he looks to score the goals to help shoot Tottenham to a place in the showpiece finale.(Image: Shaun Botterill/Getty Images)

Left-wing - Mathys Tel

Mathys Tel may win the race to start over Son Heung-min amid question marks over the Tottenham captain's fitness. Ange Postecoglou revealed to BBC Sport after the Liverpool defeat that Son will be "touch and go for Thursday".
Even if he does return to the matchday squad from his foot injury, it may be wise to start with him on the bench as he last featured for Tottenham in the Europa League quarter-final first leg match against Eintracht Frankfurt. As important as Thursday's Bodo/Glimt game is, it will all come down to the deciding fixture in Norway seven days later.(Image: (Image: GETTY))
