We’re wrapping up our coverage of the second day of the World Cup. The morning began with a draw in Toronto between co-host Canada, who had never not lost a Cup match before this one, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. There was a duck dressed in a Mexican jersey and Scottish fans in between, and then we capped the day with the USA’s dominant 4-1 win over Paraguay.

We’ll return tomorrow with four matches, including the Socceroos’ debut against Turkey at 2pm AEST.

Until then, make sure to do your homework and check out Vince Rugari’s Good Weekend profile of Socceroos young talent Nestory Irankunda. As Vince writes, if you’ve never heard Irankunda’s name before, now is the time to learn it.

See you tomorrow!
