With Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the rearview, Ubisoft is making leadership changes as it prepares for the future of the long-running series. Three new leaders have been appointed to manage the Assassin’s Creed series moving forward.

Ubisoft posted a statement to Reddit to share the news. The new leaders and their respective roles are as follows:

  • Martin Schelling - Head of Brand
  • Jean Guesdon - Head of Content
  • François De Billy - Head of Production Excellence

All three of the new leaders have a history with the franchise, with credits spanning games like Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag (Schelling), Assassin’s Creed Origins (Guesdon), and Assassin’s Creed Revelations (De Billy). The trio will work with existing executives Andrée-Anne Boisvert, producer of crossbrand initiatives, and Lionel Hiller, VP brand and go-to-market strategy.

The next Assassin’s Creed game has not been formally announced, but Ubisoft previously revealed Codename Hexe, an Assassin’s Creed game set during the Salem Witch Trials, back in 2022.
