Lucid Motors (LCID) released its earnings report for the Q1 2026 fiscal quarter. The news does not appear to be good for the company. Analysts expected a $358.51 million USD revenue figure for the quarter, but the actual number came in at $282.5 million. Likewise, analysts expected an earnings per share (EPS) loss of $2.30 per share, but the actual loss per share figure came in higher at $2.82 per share.

"First quarter results demonstrated the strength of our technology and product portfolio," Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said in the Lucid Q1 2026 earnings report. "A supplier issue resolved during the quarter had an impact, but January and March deliveries were ahead of the same periods in the prior year. We expanded strategic partnerships, including with Uber, and continued to advance our autonomy roadmap. We are executing with focus across operations, aligning production and delivery with customer demand. With the announcement of Silvio Napoli as our next Chief Executive Officer, we are entering Lucid's next growth phase with a clear mandate: to accelerate toward financial self-sufficiency while delivering industry-leading innovation and customer experience."

Chief Financial Officer Taoufiq Boussaid painted a rosy picture for Lucid's future, pointing to $1 billion in new capital and an elevated inventory supply. The company produced 5,500 vehicles in 2025, which is up 149 percent year-over-year, and delivered 3,093 in Q1 2026. While Lucid's $282.5 million revenue is far below analyst estimates, that number is up 20 percent year-over-year from Q1 2025.

Lucid Motors (LCID) finished the May 5, 2026 trading day down $0.44 per share. That number is holding steady in after-hours trading.
