Victor Wembanyama is the NBA 2K27 cover star

Caitlin Clark and Derrick Rose will star on the game's Deluxe and Ultra Editions, respectively.

2K Games has announced that San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama will be featured on the cover of the Standard Edition of NBA 2K27. Caitlin Clark and Derrick Rose will be featured on other versions of NBA 2K27, which is set to launch on September 4, 2026. Early Access begins on August 28, 2026.

The Standard Edition cover of NBA 2K27 depicts Victor “Wemby” Wembanyama being embraced by his teammates. On the cover of the Deluxe Edition, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark dribbles the ball with her back to the basket. On the Ultra Edition, Bulls legend Derrick Rose celebrates in the United Center. A new video was released to show off the cover athletes.

The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99, the Deluxe Edition costs $99.99, and the Ultra Edition will run players $149.99. The Deluxe and Ultra Editions grant bonus rewards such as VC, MyTeam cards, and skill boosts.

Players who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultra versions of NBA 2K27 will receive Early Access starting on August 28. The game will be released in full on September 4.
