How to make the Princess and Faie talk less in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

Some peace and quiet.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is a fun little isometric action-RPG, but there is one major issue that many players have. Companion characters can talk a lot, and while that is nice for world-building sometimes, nobody likes a chatterbox in their ear when you are trying to play a game. This is how to get some peace and quiet.

To make your partner talk less, press pause to open the main menu, then navigate to System, the last icon on the right in the row of five icons at the bottom of the screen. In the main Game settings menu, scroll down until you see the Partner Chattiness option, just below the Difficulty setting.

This will be set to Talkative by default, and the partner character really will chat quite a bit. You can change this to Reticent, making your partners far less likely to offer an opinion or some background information, and leading to a much quieter and, dare I say it, more enjoyable experience while you are out exploring the world.
