The days are getting longer and the temperatures warmer, which means it’s time for Love Island USA to take another trip to Fiji. The American take on the UK’s beloved dating show is returning for a new season this summer, and it’ll be here before you know it! And while the season eight cast hasn’t been announced just yet, Peacock has confirmed that Ariana Madix will be back to host.

As a reminder: Following all the season seven casting drama, it was reported that Love Island USA producers were looking to cast “people who are very green to TV” with “not a lot of knowledge of the show or how it works” for the upcoming season. Per the insider, season eight casting directors were keen on looking for people with “full, big personalities” and are prioritizing “confidence above all else,” adding, “They seem to want to deliver a type of cast they’ve never tried out before.”
