And if you're wondering what happens next, Andrew could be looking at a trial (which would technically be "The King v Mountbatten-Windsor") and may even be removed from the royal line of succession.
According to the BBC's reporting, the British government is "considering introducing legislation to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the line of royal succession," a move that would ensure Andrew absolutely never becomes king, and would take place at the conclusion of investigations into him.
Reminder: Andrew is currently 8th in line to the throne after Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet.
As for how King Charles and the royals feel, The Guardian reports that "Buckingham Palace will not oppose plans to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the royal line of succession" and that "King Charles would not stand in the way of parliament if it wanted to ensure the former prince could never ascend to the throne."
