Gurman: Apple to announce its touchscreen MacBook on October 27

Yesterday, a report claimed that Apple is planning two separate product launches this month. While the company has confirmed the first event, scheduled for October 13, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has now revealed when the second launch could take place.

According to Gurman, who cites sources familiar with Apple’s plans, the second launch is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, or around that date.

Apple is said to unveil its long-rumored touchscreen MacBook, an OLED iPad mini, and 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac models powered by the M6 chip.

Meanwhile, the October 13 event is expected to see Apple announce a new HomePod with a display, an upgraded HomePod mini, and a new Apple TV. The company is also reportedly preparing to unveil several smart home accessories from LG and Schneider Electric.
