by · GSMArena.com

During this year's Samsung Developer Conference, the company announced its upcoming One UI 7 based on Android 15. Arguably, this is the most interesting bit of the whole keynote. Still, there are other developments with Samsung products, like Tizen OS, for example.

As a quick reminder, One UI 7 will arrive in early 2025, while a beta version of the software will be seeded to users by the end of this year. The new OS will feature a UI redesign, more customization options and deeper AI integration that will be more contextual—depending on location, surroundings, etc.

Speaking of AI, Samsung also announced on-device AI capabilities for Tizen OS-powered devices. This will enable a more responsive and personalized experience and better integration with the Galaxy ecosystem. Thanks to AI, users will be able to control devices seamlessly and complete tasks on the go.

Even refrigerators and vacuum cleaners will get a taste of AI. For instance, AI Vision will be implemented into refrigerators, so you will have up-to-date information about what you have inside the fridge and get relevant recipe suggestions. And AI Floor Detect will make vacuums more efficient and intelligent.

Samsung's SmartThings ecosystem will become smarter with AI too. It will offer Home Insight, which analyzes real-time data and patterns to optimize home management. Samsung's AI tech has also been integrated into Bixby, providing advanced voice control features without wake-up commands. Smart displays, including TVs, feature AI for content recommendations, AI upscaling, and even real-time customization using generative AI.
