Main specs leak for Oppo's upcoming wide Reno X

by · GSMArena.com

For a while now, Oppo has been rumored to be working on a wide candybar smartphone, a genre reinvented by the Huawei Pura X View recently. According to past leaks, Oppo's entrant into this space will be called Reno X.

Today, a tipster on X has purportedly shared its main specs. The device allegedly has a 6.35-inch flat screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio (for reference, note that the Pura X View has a 5:3 aspect ratio, which sits in between 16:9 and 16:10).

The Reno X will be powered by an unspecified MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset, and it will allegedly have a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. It will also sport a metal frame.

It's interesting to see this as part of Oppo's Reno mid-range lineup and not its Find flagship series. Anyway, a previous rumor also told us to expect it to have a 7,000 mAh battery.
