'World excited about India's youth': PM Modi distributes over 51,000 Govt appointment letters at 19th Rozgar Mela

Talking about international partnerships, PM Modi said India’s growing ties with global companies and countries would create new opportunities for young people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited candidates during the 19th Rozgar Mela through video conferencing. He said the youth would play a major role in building a developed India and take responsibility in sectors such as railways, banking, defence, health, and education.

Addressing the youth during the event, PM Modi said, “Today, more than 51,000 youth have received appointment letters for government jobs. Today, all of you are becoming important partners, responsible partners, in the country's development journey. You are all going to assume new responsibilities in railways, banking, defence, health, education, and many other sectors.”

 

 

He further added, “You will all play a crucial role in fulfilling the resolve for a developed India in the coming years.”

PM Modi also said that the world is excited about India’s youth and the country’s technological progress. He said many countries now want to become part of India’s growth journey.

Speaking about his recent foreign visit, PM Modi said, “I just returned from a trip to five countries two days ago. During this visit, I held detailed discussions with leaders from many countries and major companies. I noticed one thing everywhere, the world is very excited about India’s youth and technological progress.”

He added, “Today, the world wants to be a part of India’s development journey. India is also partnering with many countries around the world. I also want the youth of my country to get global exposure.”

Talking about international partnerships, PM Modi said India’s growing ties with global companies and countries would create new opportunities for young people.

Giving an example, he said, “The semiconductor company ASML from the Netherlands has signed an agreement with India’s TATA company. This is very rare and will create many new employment opportunities in India. It will also open doors to next-generation technology.”

He further said, “Technology and AI partnerships with Sweden and the UAE’s collaboration on supercomputing will strengthen India’s technological capabilities. These agreements will certainly create new opportunities for the youth.”

PM Modi also spoke about India’s agreements with several countries during the visit. He said discussions were held with the Netherlands on semiconductors, water, agriculture, and advanced manufacturing.

He added that India discussed cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital innovation with Sweden, while talks with Norway focused on green technology and maritime cooperation.

Speaking about other partnerships, PM Modi said, “Important agreements were reached with the UAE on strategic, energy, and technology partnerships. With Italy, agreements were reached in important sectors such as defence, critical minerals, and science and technology. All these agreements will directly benefit the youth of India.”
