‘Love Island USA’ Renewed for Season 8, Sets June Premiere
by Payton Turkeltaub · VarietyA hot new cast of bombshells are about to enter the villa, as Peacock has renewed “Love Island USA” for Season 8. Ariana Madix will return to host the hit dating show, which will premiere on June 2 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
The renewal news comes following “Love Island USA’s” seventh season run, which garnered over 18.4 billion minutes streamed on Peacock during its six-week run. It also scored the No. 1 streaming original title spot in the U.S. for six consecutive weeks. Variety previously reported that Season 7 of the reality show was the most-watched streaming original TV season, growing its year-to-year viewership by 150%.

“Love Island USA” first premiered in 2019 following the success of the U.K.’s “Love Island” series. The show follows a cast of “Islanders” (or single contestants) as they search for love in a villa in Fiji. Season 7 cast members included Bryan Arenales, Gracyn Blackmore, Jeremiah Brown, Clarke Carraway, Amaya Espinal, Hannah Fields, Pepe Garcia and Iris Kendall, among others.
“Love Island: Beyond the Villa” Season 2, which was previously renewed in November, now also has a release date: April 15. The show, which will feature fan favorite Islanders from Season 7, will premiere with two episodes, followed by a pair of new episodes streaming every Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET.
