‘The Studio’ Trailer: Movie Exec Seth Rogen Gets Berated by Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Ron Howard and More in Apple TV+ Comedy

by · Variety

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer and premiere date for Seth Rogen‘s new comedy series “The Studio.”

The Hollywood-based, 10 episode comedy will premiere with its first two episodes on March 26, 2025, with one new episode dropping Wednesdays thereafter until May 21. The show was originally commissioned at Apple in 2022. The full trailer can be seen below.

Rogen stars in the series as Matt Remick, the new head of Continental Studios. Per the official logline:

“As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their own insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their neverending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.”
