‘The Pitt’ Season 3 Trailer: Dr. Robby’s First Day Back Is Filled With More Medical Emergencies
by Jordan Moreau · VarietyIt’s time to clock back in for “The Pitt.”
HBO has released the first trailer for Season 3 of the medical drama, which will premiere in January 2027. It follows the first day back on the job for Noah Wyle‘s Dr. Robby, after he went on a three-month sabbatical at the end of Season 2.
“I knew my first day back was gonna be…hard dealing with what we go through here. And I knew that it could get a little bit crazy,” Wyle says in dramatic voiceover. “But it’s time to get back to it.” The trailer has shots of medical staff treating screaming and severely injured patients, performing chest compressions and Robby consoling a grieving family member who received some tragic news. There’s also a shot of a man slamming his head against one of the hospital doors with a bloodied nose and another patient wrestling against the restraints that have him strapped down to a gurney. Just another day at the Pitt!
