Five held after €2.1m drugs seizure in Dublin and Wicklow

Five people have been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €2.1 million.

As part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime, gardaí carried out searches at a number of homes in the Dublin and Wicklow areas yesterday.

98 kilos of cannabis and 2 kilos of cocaine was recovered.

The five arrested included two men, one in his 40s and one in his 30s, and three women, one in her 40s and two in their 30s.

They are being held at Garda stations in the eastern region.
