Canara HSBC Life Q2 profit rises 5% YoY to Rs 43 crore
· The Economic TimesCanara HSBC Life Insurance Company on Friday reported a 5 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 43 crore in the September quarter of the current fiscal.
The insurer had recorded a net profit of Rs 41 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The total income of the insurance firm promoted by Canara Bank improved to Rs 2,511 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 2,349 crore a year ago, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company said in a regulatory filing.
The company collected a net premium of Rs 2,553 crore in the July-September period, up from Rs 2,260 crore in the year-ago period.
The first-year premium rose to Rs 642 crore in the second quarter from Rs 575 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.

The solvency ratio of the insurance company also moderated to 180 per cent from 198 per cent at the end of September 2025.
