Why I left the two ‘best’ players off my imperfect Baseball Hall of Fame ballot

My ballot stinks. Let’s get that out of the way.

The two best* players didn’t get a “yes” vote, but nine lesser* players did.

Am I thrilled by this? No, obviously not.

Do I deserve to file such an imperfect ballot? Yes, yes I do.
