I'm a Celebrity viewers predict jungle 'feud' as eagle-eyed fans spot 'tension'
by Tianna Corbin, Charlotte Tutton · Wales OnlineViewers are predicting drama is on the way for the campmates of this year's I'm A Celebrity following tensions in the first episode on Sunday.
A second incident on Monday night led some fans to anticipate a camp feud brewing.
The annual stress of deciding who cooks the dinners often leads to disputes over too many cooks or lack of help. On Sunday night, Tulisa Contostavlos found herself in the chef position without volunteering, leading to differing advice on how to cook the vegetables and meat.
Tulisa admitted the situation left her stressed and unsure of what to do, as she didn't want to be the camp chef. Jane Moore, Alan Halsall and others all had their say, with Jane disagreeing with some.
An accident with the beans occurred on Monday night when Tulisa dropped some on the floor. In a panic, they were quickly picked up and washed to avoid wasting food.
With potential rations if they lose trials and not eating as they would outside the jungle, all food is precious. Danny Jones and Melvin Odoom took over cooking duties at meal time, reports the Mirror.
Tulisa kept a watchful eye on the celebrities and didn't hesitate to offer guidance, later confessing in the Bush Telegraph her temptation to take charge while ultimately leaving them to their tasks.
Fans at home quickly anticipated jungle discord, referencing past series and current camp squabbles.
A viewer speculated on social media: "Jane will be the first to argue over cooking."
While another remarked: "Moans about the cooking already... I can see it kicking off massively if it's like that every night when cooking. Every single year they moan about cooking."
An additional comment from a third spectator read: "Why is it the cooking that always causes the first drama?"
Someone else pondered: "They've not even been designated camp roles yet and there's already a little bit of tension over the cooking. How are they gonna cope when someone who's s**t at chef-ing takes the reigns."
There's been growing concern among viewers that one celebrity might exit the show prematurely.
GK Barry was seen struggling with her first jungle ordeal in the opening episode, demonstrating a palpable fear.
Audience members observed her discomfort around the bugs and challenges, fuelling belief that GK Barry's time in the jungle could be short-lived.
Additionally, based on her own expressions of dread, the consensus is she might voluntarily leave the show soon.
One audience member predicted: "GK Barry won't survive 48 hours the rate she's going."
This was echoed by someone else who said, "Either GK Barry Or Colleen will walk out week one trust me," and another added: "GK Barry isn't gonna last two days."
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues weeknights on ITV from 9pm.
