ITV show I'm A Celebrity is set to welcome Love Island star Maura Higgins into the jungle Down Under - with another famous face set to follow them.

10 celebrities are currently in the Australian jungle including Loose Woman panellist Jane Moore, TV personality and WAG Coleen Rooney, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, dancer Oti Mabuse, BBC Radio presenter Dean McCullough, N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, boxing legend Barry McGuigan, McFly's Danny Jones, radio DJ Melvin Odoom and TikTok sensation GK Barry.

After various press speculation about the late arrivals, it was confirmed in tonight's episode (November 20) that former Love Islander Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles will enter the jungle.

Maura, who appeared in the fifth series of Love Island, is no stranger to living in close quarters with strangers.

Ahead of entering the jungle, she said: "It's been five years [since Love Island] and I think I've matured, but I still have a potty mouth.”

She added: “I'm still the same kind of girl but I'm not going to go in and annihilate anyone. However, if someone gets on my nerves, I'm not really one to hold it in.

“I do speak my mind. If someone patronises me, I get really irritated. Like, that's one thing that really drives me mad.”

The 33-year-old has gained a loyal social media following with a whopping 3.8 million followers on Instagram and 1.3 million on TikTok.

The 62-year-old has admitted that his preparation for the gruelling camp has not shaped up as he hoped.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “I would like to say that I've been lowering my calorie intake to prepare for that [the jungle], but that's not worked out so far.

“I've been trying not to look at nature programs about the horrors of Australia.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
