Boxers, comedians, musicians and television personalities came together in Manchester to celebrate the life of Ricky Hatton. The boxer tragically died in September last year at the age of 46. The ECHO's sister site, Manchester Evening News, was in attendance at the event that celebrated his life as a dad, brother, and son, as well as his professional career.
The Evening4Ricky celebrations took place at Manchester's AO Arena last night (Sunday, June 7) and featured a line-up of top comedians, legendary figures, and Ricky’s favourite artists took part in a series of entertainment "rounds".
It also marked the official international TV launch of the Ricky Hatton Foundation, founded last year to raise vital funds and awareness to provide access to mental health services, community programmes, and educational campaigns.
The Manchester Evening News put together a gallery of their best images from the remarkable evening honouring the life of the great Ricky Hatton.
