Brooklyn Beckham Claims He Was 'Rejected' During Dad David's 50th Birthday

· The Fresno Bee

Brooklyn Beckham is issuing a scathing rebuke of his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, alleging he was "rejected" during his father's 50th birthday celebration.

"My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable," Brooklyn claimed in a multi-slide statement shared via his Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19, further alleging that his parents have "been trying endless to ruin my relationship" with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

"Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad's birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him," Brooklyn continued. "He refused all our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner."

Brooklyn further claimed, "When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all."

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for both David and Victoria for comment.

Back in May 2025, David marked the festive occasion with a party at London's Core restaurant, where in photos obtained by the Daily Mail at the time he was joined by his wife and their children Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. Romeo and Cruz's respective girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel, were also seen in attendance. Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from the photos.

Other guests included actress Eva Longoria, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, actor Tom Cruise, actress Ana de Armas and sports agent Dave Gardner.

Victoria also paid homage to her husband on his special day on May 2, sharing a sweet tribute via Instagram.

"When I look at this video, I think, ‘Wow… how lucky am I!!'" Victoria wrote at the time, alongside a montage of family memories. "You're everything I could have dreamed of and more. Happy 50th @davidbeckham!!! I love you and our beautiful family endlessly. You complete me."

On Monday, Brooklyn further claimed that his parents only care about the family's so-called brand.

"Brand Beckham comes first," he alleged in his statement. "Family ‘love' is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and post for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations."

He continued, "We've gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family!' But the one time my wife asked for my mum's support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused."

Victoria and David's estranged son also described his family's social media posts as "performative," claiming the family's "inauthentic" relationships have been "a fixture of the life I was born into."

"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of the innocent people, to preserve their own facade," he further claimed. "But I believe the truth always comes out."
