Warcraft 3 Reforged Forsaken Kingdom is a new campaign for the classic RTS, and it's out right now
· PCGamesNIt's time to go back to Warcraft 3 Reforged, because there's a new expansion in town. The Forsaken Kingdom DLC was just announced at Blizzcon 2026, bringing a completely original campaign to the RTS game for the first time in 23 years. Including "over 30 hours of gameplay," it's a chance to revisit the classic and experience a fresh story that will reveal in more detail "the events that led to the first days of World of Warcraft." Best of all, it's out right now.
This new Warcraft 3 Reforged tale takes us into "the last days of Lordaeron, where you will step foot into the origins of The Undercity before millions knew it by name." Expect familiar faces like Sylvanas to appear, as well as some new ones, as we follow in the footsteps that bridge from the previous Warcraft 3 story to where things are when World of Warcraft begins (just in time for the launch of WoW Forever this November).
Arriving alongside this new expansion comes Warcraft 3 Reforged's 3.0 update, bringing a full graphical overhaul and a whole bunch of fresh features. There's the new neutral hero, the Forsaken Paladin. Group selection has been upgraded to a maximum of 24 units, while the world editor has been improved with better lighting, environments, and more.
Warcraft 3 Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom is out now, alongside the definitive edition upgrade. Expect to pay $29.99 / £24.00 for the DLC, or $49.99 / £41.99 bundled with the base game.
