Stellantis pushes back launch of Ram 1500 electric pickup to early 2025

Nov. 19 (UPI) -- The 2025 Ram 1500 REV electric pickup won't be available until sometime during the first half of 2025 after automaker Stellantis earlier announced it would be available at the end of 2024.

"We are facing a very significant amount of workload," Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said during a virtual press event on Tuesday. "We want to be very prudent in the way we validate the products, so we take our time."
