Mindy Kaling, MrBeast join upcoming season of 'Shark Tank'
· UPIJuly 8 (UPI) -- Shark Tank returns this fall with a shiver that includes The Office star Mindy Kaling and online content juggernaut MrBeast.
Season 18 of the ABC reality series adds to its cast of guest sharks former NFL defensive end J.J Watt and entrepreneur Steven Bartlett, who appears on Dragon's Den, the U.K. version of the show.
Rounding up the list of guest sharks are Erin Foster and Sara Foster, co-founders of Favorite Daughter, a press release said Tuesday.
Shark Tank features fledgling entrepreneurs pitching their businesses to the show's cast of investors, known as sharks.
MrBeast, born Jimmy Donaldson, is the most followed YouTuber in the world. Jeffrey Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, will also be a guest shark.
Kaling is an award-winning writer, director and actor. Her most recent series, Not Suitable for Work, premiered on Hulu in June.
The reality series also features a school of permanent sharks, including Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky and Kevin O'Leary.
Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams, who had previously been guest sharks, have been promoted to permanent spots for this upcoming season.
