Theo James takes on mafia in 'The Gentlemen' Season 2 teaser

July 9 (UPI) -- Netflix is giving a glimpse of The Gentlemen Season 2.

The streaming service shared a teaser trailer for the season Thursday featuring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario.

The Gentlemen is a crime comedy-drama series from Guy Ritchie that serves as a sequel and spinoff to his 2019 film of the same name.

James stars as Eddie Horniman, a British army officer and duke who inherits an estate with a secret cannabis farm. He teams up with Susie Glass (Scodelario), the daughter of imprisoned crime boss Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone).

In Season 2, Eddie and Susie bring their operations to Italy, where they clash with Italian mafia boss Marco Moretti (Sergio Castsellitto) and the fixer Cico Maldini (Michele Morrone).

Other cast members include Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborrow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley and Giancarlo Esposito.

The Gentlemen Season 2 premieres Sept. 3 on Netflix.
