Mike Tyson's training regime for his upcoming fight with Jake Paul has been largely kept secret, but the 58 year old has now shared a glimpse of his gym work and a message for his rival. The pair were originally set to clash in July, but the match was delayed due to medical advice after Tyson, a former world heavyweight champion, experienced an ulcer flare-up during a flight.

As a result, the eagerly-awaited bout has been rescheduled for November. Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer who is less than half Tyson's age, has described his training camp as 'intense'.

He recently shared some footage of his own training, although some have suggested he doesn't appear to be in peak condition ahead of the November 15 fight. In response to Paul's bold claims, Tyson has now hit back.

A video of Tyson training has been posted on his Instagram account, accompanied by the caption: "While Jake keeps talking, I'm going to keep training. Going to f*** him up," In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Paul expressed optimism about his preparations, saying: "It's been going amazing. Intense camp," he said. "I'm sparring 300lb guys back-to-back. So my body is aching, my bones are sore. They punch a lot harder and just wrestling with them in the ring and sparring is very difficult, but on November 15 I'm going to be prepared. We've trained hard to make the fight easy."

Many fans are backing Tyson to come out on top. One fan commented on the 58 year old's Instagram video, "Gettem Mike, show him and today's generation what they missed out on when you were in your prime," Another added, "Even 10% of Mike Tyson is enough to handle this kid.", reports the Mirror.

Tyson boasts an impressive record of 50 wins and six losses from his professional boxing career, with his last bout taking place in 2005. Despite Tyson's age, his former rival Larry Holmes, who experienced his sole knockout defeat at Tyson's hands in 1988, has issued a caution to Paul.

"Tyson ducks, moves his head, and gets in close," Holmes said in an interview with OLBG. "He'll take a punch or two to get in close, and then once he's up close he'll go to work on the body, and then that head."

He recounted his own bout with Tyson, saying, "Mike knocked the s*** out of me, he hit me so hard I went 'wooooo'. And he beat me. It was embarrassing. I remember the right hand he hit me with - I thought at the time 'he should be locked up' because of the power, and he kept on coming, growling like Joe Frazier. That's the fight I'm expecting Mike to put on. Jake has to survive that."
