BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans shares glimpse into relationship after 'dating site ban'
by Matt Jackson, https://www.facebook.com/MattjJourno · Birmingham LiveStrictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has opened up about his personal life with girlfriend Liz Brookes.
The 52year-old opera singer and radio presenter shared that he was "banned" from a dating app before meeting Liz at an event earlier this year. Wynne, who has impressively shed seven stone since his advertising days, credits his fitness enthusiast partner, Liz, 50, for helping him maintain his exercise routine, reports Wales Online.
Known to many as the Go.Compare man, Wynne expressed his aspirations to complete a parkrun and how working out with Liz has made him feel "better".

Speaking on the Starting Line podcast with Rich Leigh, Wynne said: "I go out running with my girlfriend and stuff and I feel much better for it. I will go out with her."
The singer, who is currently starring on the BBC reality show, amusingly recounted his online dating experiences, revealing: "I should have done it online. But I once got banned for impersonating myself on a dating website."
"They were like 'no, you're impersonating a celebrity' and I was like 'yeah, I need to get a date as well'. So dating has been so weird."
Despite being approved for Raya, a dating site for celebrities, Wynne admitted that it "wasn't for him". Before finding love with Liz, he recalls the "interesting experience" of dating as the Go. Compare man.
He shared: "Eventually you've got to tell them before you go on the date."
He also mentioned a telling statistic about his widespread recognition: "There was a statistic that when a Go.Compare ad went out, 98% of the population would come into contact with the ad, either through printed media, outdoor media, or TV and radio within three days. So you've got to be living in a cave [not to see it]."
Wynne is reportedly taking things at a leisurely pace with Liz, with sources indicating he's in a "much better" place following his divorce from ex-wife Tanwen.
Currently, he's showcasing his dance moves on Strictly Come Dancing alongside Katya Jones, where they're set to perform the Rumba to Shirley Bassey's This Is My Life this week.
