Creators of Gavin and Stacey James Corden and Ruth Jones have confessed that there's more in store for the series - all to be revealed in a new book launching next year. The book, titled 'When Gavin Met Stacey and Everything in Between: A Story Of Love And Friendship', is set to hit the shelves in October.

This surprising news comes just days before the final episode is scheduled to air on Christmas Day, indicating that the much-awaited finale won't be the last fans will see of the beloved show that first premiered in 2007. The book promises to be "full of revelations and never-before-heard stories", offering readers a glimpse into the friendship between Corden and Jones.

As per the publishers' statement, it will also delve into how the comedic duo, who also portray Smithy and Nessa, transformed the show into a "full-on cultural phenomenon". This follows hints from the pair about a potential spin-off during the Table Manners podcast, where they playfully suggested they might "explore the idea of writing together".
