Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet range could feature one big upgrade
Screen information leaks
by Jon Mundy · Tech AdvisorNot much is known about the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ mid-range tablet refresh, but at least one big improvement should be coming to the range.
Trusted tipster Roland Quandt has taken to Bluesky with a brief but informative claim about the displays of Samsung’s forthcoming mid-range tablets.
While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE will pack the same-sized 10.9in screen as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, the Plus model will apparently be receiving a boost.
Back in 2023, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ shipped with a 12.4in screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+, on the other hand, will apparently be fronted by a larger 13.1in display.
That’s it for specific display details. We don’t learn if they’re going to be LCD panels (like their predecessors) or will be switching up to OLED. Nor do we learn if there’s going to be any advanced on the 90Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE range.
Affordable AI tablets?
However, we do get a confirmation that both tablet models will be shipping with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Even this little morsel contains news of an upgrade, this time for the smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE. The previous model maxed out at 8GB of RAM, even while the Tab S9+ offered a 12GB option.
This may speak to Samsung’s current AI obsession. Samsung has been bringing its RAM allotments up in recent times, likely thanks to its focus on AI features, which tend to be extremely memory-hungry.
Of course, if Samsung was really serious about equipping its new mid-range tablets with proper AI-crunching power, it would likely supply 12GB of RAM as standard rather than an option, as it has with the Samsung Galaxy S25. We’ll have to wait and see on that front.
