Samsung Plans Early July Event in New York for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 Reveal

According to a new report, Samsung could host its second ‘Unpacked’ event of the year in “early July”. This is the launch event that will reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 foldable smartphones to the world, and based on this report, it could be hosted in New York.

The information comes from The JoongAng, and based on it, Samsung is ready to change up the event venue. Last year, the event was held in Paris, France. That event showed us the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, amongst other devices.

This time around, the event will be held in New York, it seems. As a reminder, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were announced in New York back in 2022. Now, the “early July” event timeframe is in line with last year’s event. Last year, the event was hosted on July 10. Chances are that it will be a similar date this year too, as July 4 is a holiday in the US.

Samsung could show us its tri-fold smartphone during that event, there’s a possibility

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 will likely be the stars of this event. The only device that could bring more flare is the company’s tri-fold device, if Samsung opts to launch it during the same event.

What else is expected? Well, it seems like it will be a huge event. The Galaxy Z Flip FE is a possibility, as is a new Galaxy Watch, actually. On top of all that, Samsung’s Android XR headset could appear in some capacity.

We do not have confirmations of what exactly will launch, but we’re guessing based on rumors and reports. The only devices that are pretty much certain to appear are the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.
