BREAKING: Fatal crash claims Liverpool star's life
by Lukhanyo Mtuta · KickOffSad news coming out of Spain has revealed that Liverpool star Diogo Jota has tragically lost his life.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the Liverpool forward passed away on Thursday morning.

The Portugal international is said to have been involved in a fatal traffic accident in the province of Zamora, Spain.
It is further reported that the crash occurred while the 28-year-old marksman was travelling with his brother, Andre Silva, who also plays as a footballer for Penafiel in Portugal's second tier.
Marca also claims that witnesses said the car veered off the road before it was engulfed in flames, causing a massive fire.
The crashed reportedly occurred on the A-52 in the province of Zamora.
Emergency services in the Castilla and Leon region confirmed the crash.
'The 1-1-2 Castilla y León operations room received several calls reporting a vehicle accident at Km. 65 of the A-52, in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora. A car was reported to have been involved in an accident and the vehicle was on fire,' a statement read.
'1-1-2 notified the Zamora Traffic Police, the Zamora Provincial Council Fire Brigade, and the Sacyl Emergency Coordination Center (CCU) of this accident.
Portuguese Football Federation has released a statement.
"We have lost two champions. Their deaths represent irreparable losses for Portuguese football, and we will do everything we can to honour their legacy every day."
Notably, Jota recently enjoyed an excellent 2024/25 campaign for both club and country, as he won his first Premier League title with Liverpool and the UEFA Nations League with Portugal.
