Sony has today revealed its next State of Play livestream will take place on 2nd June 2026. It's going to be over an hour long, and Marvel's Wolverine will be there alongside "updates, announcements, and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world".

As for Marvel's Wolverine, Sony says Insomniac will have "more from its upcoming third-person action-adventure game showing off Logan’s brutal and relentless combat along with some new details". It's due out on 15th September for PS5.

The State of Play takes place on Tuesday, 2nd June 2026 at the following times worldwide:

  • North America: 2pm PDT / 3pm MDT / 4pm CDT / 5pm EDT
  • UK/Ire: 10pm BST
  • Europe: 11pm CEST / 12am (Wed) EEST
  • Asia/Oceania: 6am (Wed) JST / 5am (Wed) AWST / 7am (Wed) AEST

Sony will have the showcase broadcast live in English, with Japanese subtitles available, across all the usual video platforms. You'll also be able to watch it live here on Push Square with our community chat.

As for what might be part of the livestream besides Marvel's Wolverine, obvious candidates from PlayStation Studios are Intergalactic, Marvel Tokon, and the live service games such as Fairgames and Horizon Hunters Gathering. That's in terms of publicly confirmed projects, but there's also the rumoured ones, such as the God of War title featuring Faye.

Third parties will also be part of the showcase, which opens the floodgates to so many other possibilities.

What's also interesting is Sony plans to broadcast the State of Play at select Alamo Drafthouse movie theatres. It's hosting "special live watch party viewings" of the livestream, and tickets are free. You can learn more about it through the link. The showcase will be broadcast in the following places:
