Here's Your First Look at Sony's Zelda Movie, Film Shots Revealed

After some third-party clips of filming for Sony and Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda movie adaptation made their way to the Internet over the weekend, the Nintendo Today app has shared the first official shots.

Here are the first three official screens from Nintendo:

As we already know, Link is being played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (The Haunting of Bly Manor, Son of a Critch, and Pinocchio) while Zelda is played by Bo Bragason (King and Conqueror, The Jetty, and The Radleys). Avi Arid is producing and Wes Ball is directing, with a release date set for 7th May 2027.

Based on the three shots released, Link appears to be wearing a very traditional version of his tunic, rather than the more detailed one we've seen in recent releases like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Do you like the look? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
