Golden Knights get Mark Stone back for Game 3 vs. Avalanche

Captain Mark Stone will return to the lineup for the Vegas Golden Knights for Game 3 of the Western Conference Final agianst the Colorado Avalanche, coach John Tortorella said Sunday.

Stone will make his first appearance since suffering a lower-body injury in Game 3 of the second round against Anaheim.

Stone took part in morning skate Friday at Ball Arena and took part in the optional skate Saturday at City National Arena.

Colorado defenseman Cale Makar is a game-time decision with an upper-body injury.

Stone’s return gives the Knights one of their best playmakers and 200-foot players back in the lineup, as they try to take a 3-0 lead on the Presidents’ Trophy winners.
