Meet the 2026 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada boys basketball team

First team

Kaden Arnold, Democracy Prep — The junior was a first-team 5A forward and helped the Blue Knights reach the 5A state semifinals.

Tyler Bright, Bishop Gorman — The senior was a first-team 5A forward who helped the Gaels reach the 5A state semifinals.

Devan Christion, Clark — The senior 4A Desert League player of the year averaged 20.4 points and 10 rebounds for the 4A state champion. He signed with Akron.

Devaughn Dorrough, Coronado — The sophomore was a first-team 5A selection and averaged 10.8 points and 8.3 rebounds for the 5A state champion. He has notable Division I offers from California, USC, Washington and UNLV.

CJ Edwards, Clark — The sophomore was a 4A Desert League first-team selection and averaged 16.3 points per game to help the Chargers win the 4A state title.

Munir Greig, Coronado — The junior was the 5A co-MVP and averaged 15.9 points and 7.8 rebounds for the 5A state champion. He was named the Gatorade state player of the year, MaxPreps Nevada player of the year and is a four-star recruit with offers from SMU, Syracuse, Mississippi State and UNLV.

DaShaun Harris, Democracy Prep — The sophomore was a first-team 5A guard and helped the Blue Knights reach the 5A state semifinals.

Ty Johnson, Bishop Gorman — The junior was a first-team 5A selection to help the Gaels reach the 5A state semifinals.

Aaron McMorran II, Desert Pines — The first-team 5A sophomore was fifth in the state averaging 23.2 points per game and 6.4 rebounds.

Amare Oba, Coronado — The senior was a first-team 5A selection and averaged 15.8 points and 5.3 rebounds for the 5A state champions. He signed with Missouri State.

Dante Steward, Liberty — The senior first-team 5A forward averaged 14.2 points and shot 48 percent from the field for the 5A state runner-up.

Tyus Thomas, Liberty The senior 5A co-MVP averaged 14.9 points and 3.9 assists for the 5A state runner-up. He has notable Division I offers from LSU, UNLV and Creighton.

Coach of the year

Brent Rothman, Clark – Guided the Chargers to the Class 4A Southern Region and state titles.

Second team

Tayshawn Caesar, Liberty — The senior guard averaged 10.6 points per game for the 5A state runner-up.

Jonny Collins, Coronado — The senior guard averaged 9.4 points per game and was a second-team 5A selection for the 5A state champion.

Kameron Cooper, Bishop Gorman — The junior was a second-team 5A selection that helped the Gaels win the 5A state title. He has notable Division I offers from TCU, UNLV and Xavier.

DJ Hunter, Losee — The freshman guard averaged 20.7 points per game and was a first-team 4A Mountain League selection.

Hunter Iverson, Las Vegas High — The 4A Lake League player of the year averaged 18.1 points and 8.6 rebounds.

Tyler Merto, Desert Pines — The junior averaged 13.3 points and 6.8 rebounds and was a second-team 5A selection.

Uzo Nwapa, The Meadows — The 3A Southern League player of the year averaged 22.1 points for the 3A state champions.

Jordyn Perdue, Legacy — The junior 4A Mountain League co-MVP averaged 18.3 points to help the Longhorns reach the 4A state tournament.

Jaden Redding, Democracy Prep — The sophomore was a second-team 5A selection and helped the Blue Knights reach the 5A state semifinals.

Jayvion Wall, Sierra Vista — The junior was third in the state averaging 24.9 points and was a second-team 5A selection.

Dashel Wiley, Faith Lutheran — The senior averaged 22.7 points per game and was a first-team 4A Desert League selection.

Amir Wright, Clark — The senior was a 4A Desert League first-team selection and averaged 10.6 points per game to help the Chargers win the 4A state title.
