Winona Ryder to reunite with Tim Burton for guest role on season three of Wednesday

Winona Ryder is set to reunite with Tim Burton for a guest role on season three of Wednesday season.

This move brings the Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands star back together with her Beetlejuice co-star Jenna Ortega and Wednesday director and executive producer Tim Burton.

For the time being, Ryder’s guest star role is being kept a secret.

“I am so happy that Winona has joined us, she fits right into this world,” Tim Burton said in a statement. And she’s a dear friend. I always feel lucky to work with her.”

Creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar added, “When it comes to Outcasts, Winona Ryder is the GOAT. Her legendary partnership with Tim Burton has defined some of cinema’s most unforgettable characters.”

“We loved collaborating with her on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to Nevermore.”

The actress will join Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride), Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game Of Thrones), Oscar Morgan (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gotham Knights), Kennedy Moyer (Task, Roofman) and more.

After its second season premiered last year, Wednesday rose to the fifth-most-watched English-language series on Netflix ever.

The first season is still the most-watched English-language series on the streamer ever.
