Operation Sindoor Phase 2: India foils Pakistan's late night missile barrage
by https://www.facebook.com/tfipost, TFI Desk · TFIPOST.comIndia-Pakistan tensions have again heightened, as Pakistan has made drone and missile attacks against Indian border areas for the second day in a row. But India’s sophisticated S-400 air defense system intercepted and repelled the threats. These attacks targeted mostly Jammu, Punjab, and Rajasthan border areas, where cross-border shelling and Pakistani aggressive military actions have seen a sharp escalation.
Failed Drone and Missile Attacks
According to Indian security agencies, Pakistan attempted to carry out suicide drone attacks in Jammu and Pathankot. These drones were aimed at the Jammu airport and the Pathankot Air Force Station. Thanks to the alertness and preparedness of the Indian Army and Air Force, these threats were neutralized before they could cause any damage. The S-400 missile defense system was instrumental in destroying the drones and missiles in mid-air, averting possible devastation.
Increased Cross-Border Firing
Pakistani forces, from Punjab to Rajasthan and Kashmir, have increased the scale of shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC). Indian defense forces are retaliating forcefully and have beefed up military strength along the border to keep a check on further escalation. Security has been ramped up to check future threats.
Pakistani Fighter Jet Shot Down
In a significant development, the Indian Air Force shot down a Pakistani fighter jet near Jammu. This action demonstrates India’s strategic strength and readiness to respond firmly to any act of aggression or airspace violation.
