Dar Al Balad Business Solutions posts lower profit in 9M-26 despite 7.5% revenue growth

Riyadh — Mubasher: Dar Al Balad for Business Solutions Company reported a net profit of SAR 36.76 million in the first nine-month period of 2026, representing a 6.17% decrease from the SAR 39.18 million in 9M-25, according to a bourse filing.

The decline in 9M-26 profitability occurred despite a 7.542% rise in total revenues, which reached SAR 250.84 million compared to SAR 233.24 million a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 0.52 in 9M-26, down from SAR 0.55 in 9M-25.

Total shareholders' equity increased by 30.71% to SAR 216.59 million as of 30 September 2026.

For the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, Dar Al Balad Business Solutions registered a 21.69% decrease in net profit to SAR 11.30 million.

This quarterly performance was impacted by a shift to investment losses totaling SAR 9,255 which contrasted with investment gains of SAR 1.70 million in Q3-25.

Additionally, operating profit for the July-September 2026 quarter decreased by 5.70% to SAR 12.80 million as general and administrative expenses rose and Zakat charges increased to SAR 1.60 million.

The company noted that revenue growth was supported by the business solutions segment, where IT consulting services climbed to SAR 33.68 million.
