Riyadh- Mubasher: Saudi Ceramic Company (Saudi Ceramics) announced the projected financial impact of revised electricity and water service tariffs, in accordance with governance procedures for adjusting energy and water product prices.
The company stated that the new tariffs are scheduled to take effect starting 1 January 2027.
Based on internal estimates, the adjustment to the electricity service tariff is expected to increase the company’s annual production and operating costs by approximately 0.80%.
Saudi Ceramics confirmed there is no financial impact resulting from the adjustment to the water service tariff. The company expects these changes to begin reflecting in its financial results starting from the first quarter (Q1) of 2027.
To mitigate the impact of rising costs on its financial performance, the group is implementing several initiatives focused on rationalizing energy consumption and improving production and operational efficiency.
These measures aim to offset the increased utility expenses through enhanced resource management across its manufacturing facilities.
Earlier this month, the company inaugurated a new showroom dedicated to the sale of the core product lines, including ceramic and porcelain tiles, sanitary ware, and water heaters.
