Tabreed logs AED 115.5m profits to shareholders in Q1-25 - Mubasher Info

Dubai - Mubasher: The net profits attributable to the owners of National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) jumped to AED 115.43 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 from AED 112.13 million in Q1-24.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) attributable to ordinary equityholders went up to AED 0.04 as of 31 March 2025 from AED 0.03 a year earlier, according to the financial results.

The company posted revenues amounting to AED 465.90 million in Q1-25, versus AED 468.10 million a year earlier.

In Q1-25, Tabreed raised $700 million via the issuance of a Green Sukuk with a competitive profit rate of 5.27%, attracting strong international investor demand.

Chairman of Tabreed, Bakheet Al Katheeri, said: “Tabreed’s resilience is one of its hallmarks and only through prudent financial stewardship is the company in a position to commit to such long-term, significant investments.”

In 2024, Tabreed recorded higher net profits attributable to the owners at AED 570.21 million, compared with AED 431.14 million in 2023.
