BREAKING- Parliament passes anti-LGBTQ bill

The anti LGBTQ bill was passed today, May 29, 2026, per the information available at the news desk of GH Page, even though the minority caucus in parliament opposed the amendments.
Following the passing of the bill, LGBTQ activities has been criminalized by the parliament of Ghana, hence, anyone who engages in such faces the wrath of the laws of the country.
Meanwhile, it is noted that individuals who provide legal advice to persons identified as LGBTQ, journalists, and media houses who report on LGBTQ issues, among others wouldn’t face any punishment.
