Green Pay Packers Fans Thank Jerry Jones for Micah Parsons
· NewsTalk 1290Last night the Green Bay Packers won on Thursday Night Football. Post game, the Dallas Cowboys owner got a shout out from the cheese heads.
As a Dallas Cowboys fan, I was rooting for the Green Bay Packers last night. As should all Cowboys fans, why would any Cowboys fan want to see the Washington Commanders ever win? Green Bay secured the win and afterwards Micah Parson did a post game interview on Amazon Prime. He was unable to talk because the Packers fans had a message for Jerry Jones.
Packers Fans Chant 'Thank You Jerry!'
Micah Parsons last night finished the game with 2 tackles, half a sack, and three quarterback hits. Parsons also got Washington to draw a few penalties on him last night and according to Sporting News, the Commanders would run away from the side that Parsons was on.
Has Jerry Pulled Off a Similar Herschel Walker Move?
Only time will tell if Jerry Jones move for Micah Parsons will pay off. Right now Packers fans are definitely enjoying the defensive superstar. Dallas got two first round picks with trading Micah to Green Bay. When the Cowboys traded Herschel Walker, they got three different picks and four players. The Cowboys had no intention of using the players so they were compensated picks when they were traded away. Those picks were used for major Dallas Cowboys players in the 90's. Like Emmitt Smith, Russel Maryland, and Darren Woodson.
Vote Which Trade Hurt Dallas More
Hopefully those two first round picks turn into elite players like those in a few years. Things get more interesting in a few weeks when the Packers come to Arlington to take on the Cowboys. It's prime time action for Sunday Night Football on September 28.
