The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that President Tinubu’s sole opponent, Stanley Osifo, scored zero votes.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who served as the state’s collation officer, declared the result at the Kano State Government House.

The results, drawn from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, showed President Tinubu in a commanding lead over fellow aspirant Stanley Osifo, cementing his dominance within the ruling party ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the Returning Officer for the primary, announced Tinubu as the winner on Saturday night in Jos.

Fubara, who served as the State Collation Officer for the primaries, made the commendation on Saturday in Port Harcourt.

It was announced on Saturday at the temporary state secretariat on Waterworks Road, Abakaliki, after collation ended at about 5pm. 

Governor Aiyedatiwa, while announcing the results of the primary on Sunday in Akure, said Tinubu polled 181,966 votes.

Tinubu defeated his sole challenger, Stanley Osifo, by wide margins across the country, with the businessman recording zero votes in several states.

Governor Bassey Otu, who served as the State Returning Officer and Coordinator, made the declaration in Calabar on Saturday.
